Salvation Prayer Guide

How do I pray for salvation?  

There truly is not a right way or wrong way to pray the prayer of salvation. God desires to offer you His FREE gift of eternal life. All we need to do is confess with our mouth that Jesus is the Son of God, ask for forgiveness of our sins, and believe in our hearts that Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross and rose again on the third day.  

From there, you should begin to read the Bible, which is the Word of God. Find a Bible-believing church and embark on your incredible journey of accepting Christ and building a relationship with your Father, Creator, and Friend.  

God created us for relationship and longs for one with you. He has many gifts waiting for you; just start reading His Word and pray to Him, and He will guide you. I pray many blessings for you!  

Reference Scriptures from the Bible:  

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God.  

Romans 10:9 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  

John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  

John 3:16-18 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  

Psalms 60:5 – That thy beloved may be delivered; save [with] thy right hand, and hear me.  

John 3:17-21 – For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  

SALVATION PRAYER  

Dear God,  

I believe that You sent Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross so that by believing in Him, I can be forgiven of my sins and redeemed because His innocent blood was shed for me. I recognize that it is only through His death on the cross and resurrection that I can be made right with You. Thank You, Lord, for my redemption. I surrender to You and ask for help each day to make the right steps as I continue on this path of accepting Christ.
